Shower Call Down Below
That’s what we holler when we get ready to do the showers, 2 C.O.s will come in to get inmates out THEIR cells for the showers one cell at a time. all together it’s 6 showers. 3 down and 3 up stairs. the C.O.s only done 8 cells on the Bottom, when they got to cell 9, he came out and took the keys from one of the officers, the police Ran off the zone Leaving the inmate in the zone with the keys to all the doors. Cell 9 opened a Couple of his Buddy’s doors. and they Ran in Cell 31’s Cell and stabbed him about 9 or 10 times, he Ran down the stairs and the other guys was Right Behind him, they chased him all the way on the yard and Continued to Stab him until they got Scared and Ran Back into the Building. the police get the 3 guys that done it. the point is this. we aren’t safe here at all. Sometimes the officers give the Keys to people. and Let them do what they do. that’s not good at all. truth is a lot of these guys pay many police officers for the Keys to hurt Others. We indeed aren’t Safe here at all. Parchman is a war zone. Many never Come Back to work. and the inmates Got sent out of state. again no one is safe in Parchman. Not only do the inmates gotta worry about the officers giving the other inmates the Keys to Run in your cell and Kill you. But the Officers gotta worry about other officers Lettin the inmates kill them, It’s Crazy But it’s so very Real, This is a True story.
29 L-Building
1:45 pm. An inmate Cel 2 name **** 4 Stage, was tripping really hard on ice one morning, he thought guys was talkin about doing something to him. So, he got real scared. He was smoking a roll when he took the light he had and threw it at the Big fan we had on the Zone, the fan was about 6 foot the Body around the fan was made out of Plastic, the whole fan went up in flames within Seconds the whole Zone was Black and Covered in smoke. We already don’t have any air or A.C. in our Buildings. We all was forced to breathe the smoke in. Knowing this same smoke could kill us all. There wasn’t a C.O. in the Building that morning. He walked off his post and went to another Building to help his girlfriend Count. Leaving us in the Building all by ourselves for about 35 minutes we sat in the smoke. A few guys was yelling out the windows down the walk way to the officer for help. One of the C.O.s heard our Cry for help and came in the Building. Fighting his way through the Smoke he put the big flame out which took him a Good Little Minute to do that once he put it out the K-9 and Warden came to the Building asked was everyone okay and a doctor came to see was every one okay. They moved the inmate to A-Building and other inmates came in to clean the Zone once everything was clean, we went back to our Day. The C.O. that saved us some was officer Taylor.
